Kenneth Stewart serves the United Pentecostal Church International as the Director of Building the Bridge, Florida Director of North America Missions and as a member of the Board of Publications. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) in Tampa which has the largest Children’s Science Center in the nation and is the 5th largest Science Center overall. Kenneth is the President and Owner of Integrated Security Consultants in Tampa.
Kenneth Stewart was born in Addis Abebe, Ethiopia while his father was stationed there with the U. S. Army. He was raised in Liberia, West Africa after his parents became missionaries. His parents still serve in Liberia as missionaries with the UPCI. Kenneth holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology from Christian Life College in Stockton, CA. Kenneth has been married for over 21 years, to his wife Althea, and is the proud father of three daughters. His oldest daughter, Ayana, is a sophomore at the University of Florida and his twin daughters, Alyssa and Alena, are sophomores at Wiregrass Ranch High School.
Kenneth and Althea are the Founding Pastors of Tabernacle of Hope in Downtown Tampa. Tabernacle of Hope is a community focused ministry with an active computer lab and food and clothes pantry for the community. Tabernacle of Hope has been featured in local newspapers and on local television news reports for it’s community outreach programs such as its Community Health Care Outreach and Job Training Programs.
